You can experience tea picking from May to November.
You can taste the Sayama tea you picked yourself and take it home with you. The plans that include the tea picking experience are shown below.

Take Limited Express “Laview” Chichibu No. 7, leaving Ikebukuro at 8:30 for Tokorozawa Station. At 9:00 a.m., a white Honda car will be waiting for you in front of MIZUHO Bank, at west exit of Tokorozawa Station. Address;12-1 Hiyoshicho, Tokorozawa, Saitama, Zip 359-1123

You can shop for tea at Yokota-en or Idobata-en in Sayama Area.
At Miyano-en, you can enjoy experience tea picking and buying tea there.
I would take you to Japanese “TONKATSU” restaurant. Since the restaurant is popular, you may be asked to wait in line for a short while before being seated. Enjoy your lunch!
You can learn about the history of Sayama tea and Art of tea at the Iruma City Museum, run by Iruma City, the main area of Sayama tea.
At Onishi-en, located beyond the vast tea fields that are a popular photo spot, you can enjoy shoping Japan’s finest tea producer, who has won numerous awards.
At the end of the tour, I will take you to Hon-Kawagoe Station.
Kawagoe City is home to many kura-zukuri buildings and offers a glimpse into the rich history of Japan.
Enjoy Koedo, Kawagoe for the rest of the day!

Even if the tea picking experience is unavailable during certain seasons or you do not wish to participate, I will still provide you with a wonderful experience.
